[SEOKYU] From Seoul to New York—
A compilation of Seohyun and Kyuhyun’s duets since 2010 up to the latest this 2011. :)
It’s nice to reminisce and look back at the progress of the two maknaes. Undeniably, they were awkward in the beginning even if they didn’t seem like it when they had the backstage interview. Of course, they are no strangers to each other as he was her sunbae and she was his hoobae (or was it the other way around, considering Seohyun was first as a trainee? keke) but having to perform a duet with someone you know but not really close with must have been uncomfortable for them. Their performance was professionally delivered, and WiRes were content to see their OTPs once again, together in one stage, just when they thought S.E.O.U.L song was their only source of SeoKyu interactions.
The beauty of this duet that span the months of 2010 up to the months of 2011 is that one can witness the growing closeness of the two. From eyes that tried to avoid the other’s glance, to eye contacts that smiled at each other; from serious faces to uncontrollable laughter in perfromances; from stiff holding hands to strong, entwining of fingers; from ending A Call With All My Heart with hands held yet kept by space and distance, to concluding Way Back Into Love with heads over the other, hands locked—it amazes me so much that I cannot explain SeoKyu anymore.
The next line of performances may not include the duets of the maknaes anymore. We may never see them interact again. Soon, we will be deprived to see them once more, we will surely miss these duets. But right now, who cares, right? All these concerts became a pool of endless SeoKyu moments that I could turn to. This is a very wonderful gift SME has granted us. I have never trusted SM to organize a performance of even one SNSD member with an SJ member thinking fan-wise. Yet, they still did. And it was the best.
To my fellow WiRes, you have proven to be strong and dedicated shippers. You deserve this.
To Seohyun and Kyuhyun: someday, make Seokyu true. Be the OFFICIAL couple. Saranghae!♥
